Saxophonissimo (2e édition)

Saxophonissimo was a unique day dedicated to the saxophone, jointly organized by the academies of Waterloo, Brussels, Schaerbeek, and Rixensart, with the goal of building community and sharing experiences around our instrument.

More than 75 saxophonists of all ages took part in a full day of engaging activities:

• Masterclass led by renowned saxophonist Simon Diricq, professor at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel (KCB)

• Workshops on music creation with technology, chamber music, and mental preparation for musicians

• Exhibitions, instrument testing areas, and talks with partner brands

• Group rehearsals and a final concert by the saxophone ensemble Saxophonissimo, with the participation of Simon Diricq’s students

The event concluded with a collective concert bringing together all participants in an unforgettable artistic and human experience.
